I was honored to be chosen to direct the wedding of Jonny Fairplay and Michelle Deighton this past weekend. For those of you that are fans of Reality TV Shows you know that Jonny Fairplay is from Survivor and Michelle Deighton is from America's Next Top Model.
Their memorable wedding was held at The Water's Edge Country Club in Penhook on Saturday evening. The wedding party consisted of family members, friends and Survivor celebs which made an interesting group of people to work with. The happy couple were married by Lex Van Den Berghe whom is one of my favorite Survivor stars and a wonderful officiant to work with. Lex was able to take the seriousness of wedding vows and combine it with the wackiness of reality TV to come up with the most unique wedding vows that I have every heard.
The reception was a fun filled evening with lots of dancing and some added entertainment. Kerry "KC" Cameron was the DJ for the evening and he kept the crowd happy with fun music and even a box full of hats and props which everyone loved. The evening got a little crazier when a wrestler showed up and allowed the wedding guests to staple dollar bills to his face. I said it was a little crazy. The wedding finalized with a beautiful display of fireworks.
